I've been buying pallets of firewood from Castagna for several years. Until now, I've found the quality/price ratio to be decent. However, this year I had the unpleasant surprise of receiving three pallets of poor-quality firewood, passed off as beech, with zero calorific value. All this was delivered at a €10 markup per pallet. I honestly didn't expect such treatment, and I will definitely be purchasing firewood elsewhere in the future. Mr. Castagna and I have closed down.

I've been buying pallets of chestnut firewood for a few years now, but this year too, it's consistently poor quality. I called him for information, and he said they'll deliver it to me, obviously shifting the blame onto others. He actually made the money, even at an extra €10.00 per pallet. Stay away from this dealer.
