Regarding certified translations, I can only say that at the Naples Prefecture they laughed in my face. Translations rendered in terrible Italian. Could someone explain to a certain Taras Buha, who signs the certified translations as a "translator" at the Naples Court, that the translations must be rendered in correct and comprehensible Italian? Otherwise, they'll be rejected by the offices. Words like "stampiglia" are obsolete terms that haven't been used in Italy for decades. Writing that a criminal record is "issued regarding the fact, that the citizen, etc., etc...." isn't correct Italian.
