The experience with RFEM6 was very positive. The software was user-friendly and rich in add-ons that interact with the program. The various automatic load application features provided immediate feedback on the calculation model. The support was patient, rapid, and provided immediate resolution.

I worked with RFEM6 from Dlubal Software for my master's thesis. The software was very intuitive and easy to use for the various types of analyses I had to perform. The only small flaw I encountered, which I hope will be improved in the future, is that after the software update (available weekly), analyses performed with the previous week's version are deleted and must be redone. Therefore, if you want to open them, it's best to keep the version they were performed with.

I believe that considering Dlubal merely as a structural analysis software is reductive; it is an important tool for professional growth. It has allowed me to take an unconventional approach to design due to its versatility and analysis capabilities, sometimes complex and involving various materials—from glass to aluminum, steel, textiles, more complex shapes, and even the determination of wind loads using RWind, when the need to optimize the design and, in some cases, improve safety, is a priority.

I learned about Dlubal Software through my supervisor, who recommended it for my Master's thesis in Civil Engineering, majoring in structures. In particular, I had the opportunity to use the RFEM 6 program, which immediately proved to be very intuitive, easy to use, and very high-performance. For my thesis topic (Modeling a small building made of X-Lam), it was exceptional software as it allowed me to model the material directly using the vast library of commercial products offered. We have been using DLUBAL/RFEM for several years and acquired RWIND to leverage the potential of fluid dynamics software integrated into a FEM/structural environment. Exporting a pressure/force field into a simulation to evaluate the strength of a structural component is a very complex operation to manage when using non-integrated simulation environments. In addition to this fundamental aspect, we appreciated RWIND's ease of use, especially in the pre-processing phase dedicated to importing complex geometries. SDA Engineering
