We broke down in the queue for the ferry to Sicily, which is not an experience I'd recommend, and were rescued by Di Stefano Auto. When we got to the VW workshop we were told that the part we needed was not only unavailable in Italy, but also in Germany. At this point we thought we were stranded, and we really had no idea what to do next. However, after a couple of hours patient fiddling, Antonio and his colleagues got the car working. We can't thank them enough - they have literally saved our holiday. Thanks lads, we owe you big time. 👍🇮🇹
