I needed to replace the two locks on my front door. During the inspection, the guy told me that the iron bar cylinder cost €300 and the entire bar replacement €700. Given the high cost, I asked to replace the standard lock, and for that alone he charged €200, of which €90 (the lock and cylinder), which we discovered he had bought at the local hardware store for €45 (and the iron bar cylinder cost €120).
